Error with RSS News feed

I keep trying to validate my feed and I get the following error:

news_rss.php got some issues with feedburner.com as far as i remember .. feedburner was unable to render the feed .. cause of copyright and trademark and other special chars...

I looked at the validator and it was sying the the <description> tag was a security risk, and that you should remove it, however it did not give any reference as to what to replace it with. I have not tried removing the tags to see if it would run or adding html as suggested http://www.tbray.org/ongoing/When/200x/ ... S-Problems
