I have installed this e-mail hack:

It allows users to create their own email accounts. I want to give users their own email account in return for donation to the site, so I want people in a certina group to be able to access it. At the minute, all you need to be is a registered user.

Can anybody tell me what is the usual thing when setting permissions to access pages or what do i need to change?

Have you though about others using that as a place to launch spam from?
I would give them out in person, I wouldn't like to see your site listed somewhere like the honey pot project.

its a good point, but there is some anti spam feature on it also. If more than 50emails are sent in one go, then the account is suspended.

Also, we are a close knit community, so the guys would not jeopardise it.
