Does anyone know where i can get that notepad mod for the admin acp? i think it would be easier to use it versus having to have an external notepad open when im in acp editing pages or something like that. any help would be appreciated.

I think you will find GanGei has integrated it before without issue along with others, so it can be done.

ok, i installed this one
http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/5363 now my question is, when i uploaded the admin/index.php with the code changes, i get this error
Parse error: parse error, unexpected '/' in /home/karolina/public_html/graphicsplayhouse/psp/admin/index.php on line 151
if i put the original back in, i still get the notepad in the acp, but not sure how to work it because of the language on the buttons, or if it is even working.
any suggestions guys?
here is a screen shot of the way my acp looks, am i missing anything in it with no edits to the admin/index.php? and how can i keep it from stretching out so far?

I am not sure if this is the correct solution, because if it were in anyother directory, I would think it had not been copied in correctly. However, as it is in the admin folder, make the same changes to the admin/modules/ folder. This includes if you have added extra files to the admin/ folder, you should also copy them over to admin/modules/ as well.

there were no other file edits or files to add to the admin directory.
and i did edit the admin/modules/index.php also, but it made no difference.
what i don't understand, is line 151 has nothing to do with this mod and is the same with or without the edits.
has anyone installed this mod or one of the other notepad mods?
would i be best to back out of this mod and try one of the other one? i do not necessarily want or need the private notepad.

If you do not want or need the mod, then perhaps a retreat would be the simple and easy option, so long as your 'return to previous' strategy is good.
Could you post your line 151 here? or pm me the file?
