Style Select Problem

I do not have integramod but I am using IMportal. I've tried using the style select block several times on my forum but for some reason it doesn't do anything. In the style select bar the wrong theme name is displayed and when I try switching themes through the block it just refreshes the page with the same theme. I used to have ezportal before this and the style select thing they had worked fine but for some reason i cant get this style select to work. Can anyone help me?

I installed the block on my IM Portal board and it does show the basic subice theme correctly but I dont have any other themes loaded and I dont see any floating around for a phpbb board with just IM loaded on it.. I have not looked really hard at the code but will try too... The only mod on my board was a simple subforums and extreme styles..

here is an IM Portal ported theme you can try.
The most common reason the style select block will not work is that the theme is set to override user choice in acp/general admin/config, or acp/extreme styles
did you install the select style mod, or just add the blocks to the template. You also have files to add to forum root/blocks and forum root/blocks/language/lang_english

It used to work perfectly for me up until the last batch of security fixes, and now it fails, either via the selctor of via direct link to any style.

there is a security hole in the select style code. the second security fix Mike posted for functions.php disables the select style block

Oh I know that, but one should still be able to select teh style by passing the s= parameter but for me even that fails too!

I followed the instructions for the style select mod have had no luck. The user override is not on as users are able to change styles easily through the profile control panel. The EZ Portal block I used to have with a style select worked fine but since I switched over to IM Portal I can't get the thing to work. I also wanted to put it within the User Block so I don't have too many blocks out. I don't understand why it doesn't work. You see it says it switches the theme but it doesn't. When I remove the mod though and the block it then switches to the right theme. I have no clue why its diff. I do not use integramod if thats the problem. I do use IM Portal. I am using a heavily modified version of Phpbb plus that I changed around and added IM portal and PCP on it as well as so many other features. Please let me know what you think.
