A simple portal layout question

Hi guys, just changed to IM portal from Ezportal, well impressed.

Quick question on the layout. How can i get the portal and the blocks to go all the way to the left and right of the screen, the same as the header.

Im using acid tech set to 98% width and then the portal makes things appear under the overall header as if it was set to 85%.
