Layouts and blocks

Hi

I've been testing the different .tpl files that came pre-installed and even downloaded a few extra from your site. These are the ones I've now got and what they seem to offer:

    layout2.tpl - header / footer
    layout 1.tpl - header / footer / center
    layout3.tpl - header / footer / center / left
    portal_body.tpl - header / footer / center / right
    3_column.tpl - header / footer / center / right / left
    quad_layout.tpl - header / footer / toprow / column 1 / column 2 / bottomrow
    6_column.tpl - ?

However, some don't seem to work fully. In 'portal_body' and also '3_column' I can't get the footers to work. In '6_column' only the header and footer work - none of the 6 columns show as options.

Has anyone managed to get these working properly?

I'd really like a 4 column layout with toprow and bottomrow as options (if possible). Has anyone come up with a .tpl and .cfg file for this layout at all?

Trev.

Yes. The second one looks especially interesting.

I've managed to cobble together a working version of the top one (good old copy & paste, plus a few guesses on what it all means <img> ) using quad_layout as a starting point.

Should I submit it as a download? It works for me but there may be errors.
