Checked all of forum permisions and all were set for registered to reply.



De.scription and Message

Just had an anonymous poster leave a porn ad in my forums. I have security installed, NO cracker tracker, and all of my forum permissions have been triple checked for accuracy and I have had anonymous postings in this 1 particular forum a couple few time now. None of the other topics ever get hit just the 1 topic.

I have double and triple checked my settings for that particular forum and all settings are correct. What can or do or what else do I look for? Porn ads on a all ages site is bad. If CTracker will stop it, Im in.

If your sure you had it blocked they must be using a .script of some kind ct has stopped them all so far on my site.

Id venture to say thats what has happened .script wise. I tried every wich way I could to get in and post and it took me to the login screen every single time.

It's the updated CT version. Seeing you don't have any installed may as well try the latest version. <img>
You'll still need to debug some stuff but thats going to happen with either version.

hello, i'm having problem with this also, can anyone help me if CT is for me, i'm still using IM 1.3.2c, can't upgrade it because a lot of MODs are already installed.

Cracker Tracker can help stop hackers, it can give bad headaches, but while your sleeping, you can feel good about not having to keep an eye on your forums at all times.

Your version of IM im not sure about. I wanted to let everyone know that in this particular thread that I never came back and marked as solved, I did infact leave 1 topic open by mistake. That is how they got in. Once I solved that problem, no spma has ever got back on my site since. Even without C Tracker.
