Ok, I found another problem. People can't vote in polls. This is getting ridiculous.

Do you think this could have to do with me uploading completely new files with the changed code? I mean, could there be permissions problems with them?

no, this mod changed some functions i geuss... it think the topic_type hass to be added somewhere and some vote data also, i dunno i have checked this mod more then one time and i don't find anything that could be responsable for that loss of data. permissions could not have enything to da with that, then those problems had already been there before adding the mod

OK, that kinda sucks, cause I could easily fix that. But yeah, the forum worked perfectly before the update. Well, except for the occasional CT problem or email server error.

I have an idea of what the problems might be. Restore your files to their originals(hopefully you have backups) and I'll have a look at these issues.

Won't the database not like the un-modified files?

Also, can I just upload fresh files from the install package for these files as I deleted my backup after the 'successful' install.

I know. I'm an idiot.

If this is the only modification you've made to those files then you can use fresh ones. The db additions made by this MOD should be ignored, as no php will call to them. Backup your "broken" files as well, so that, if for some reason you do get an error, you can reupload the "broken" ones. Having some features not work is probably better then error messages everywhere.

i will keep my files how they are now, ive added other mods after, i will add the fix when ready, the fix will be some code change from the orignal so overwrite the exesting code with the new one should do te trick, when do you think you gonna have the fix ready?

I don't honestly know. I never attempted to reinstall, and the forum I was working on was deleted for a new install of vBulletin, thereby destroying over 20 hours of work. I was rather peeved.
