We are happy to announce the release of the Public Beta RC5 for IntegraMOD 141. This means it is the fourth beta, there may be more before a final release. You can download the new beta from the download link at the bottom of this post.

BEFORE YOU INSTALL -
The Beta release is for the purposes of finding and fixing issues before the final release. This means IT IS NOT for installing for use in a website for public use. DO NOT use it as such. NO SUPPORT will be given for any website running the beta. The purpose of the public beta is to increase the chance of finding faults, bugs and issues before the final release and thus making it more stable for final release.

Please only use the Public beta forum to discuss issues relating to the public beta. [url=http]http://integramod.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=52[/url] Official beta testers can still use the private development forum.

The following changes have been made. These are not all of the changes, only a few highlights.

Before anyone asks when the Final Release will come I just thought I'd say it is very soon now.

We are currently working on the upgrade path and a few more fixes to the Final.

We are hoping to release in the next few weeks, but do not hold me to that.

So please hang in there as we are really trying to get this to you in the most stable form possible.

I'd like to say yes, but untill release nothing is set in stone.

It's possible phpbb will be updated between now and release forcing us to update, this could possibly have sql changes.

I have just had my first test play since the first beta release....and I have to say an amazing job you guys have done....

The cash mod, fap and ctracker are really something.....

just have to let Teelk know that cback have just upgraded to 5.0.1 which I tested today and pretty impressive stuff...

I cannot wait for the final release....getting 2 excited...lol

x2 on the php5 compatibility. My old shared host with Ipower is killing me. Just can't handle the resource consumption of my forums. Can't browse the site for more than 10 minutes it seems without the site going down. Lost about 50% of my weekly logins in the last 6 months because people get tired of slow page loads and all that razz.

So i'm definitely looking forward to it <img> I would have just switched hosts or something but I felt like we were closer than we were when I originally discovered the problem.

Just happy and excited to have the software out so I can awaken from this ~6 month vacation i've taken from my site and get the ball rolling again to get 'er going like it was way back when Ipower was actually had a good shared hosting package that wasn't overloaded with sites.

A very small mistake...

The image http://integramod.com/forum/templates/I ... v_ltop.gif which is on the top right of the qbar menu just under the intergramod2 banner is not correct: it should be closing the line...

Hope you understand what I mean...

I also noticed, that if you don't go into ACP / Extensions / Special Categories and change the "Maximum Image Dimensions" and "Image Link Dimensions" from 0 x 0 to anything else - then you are not able to link to outside AVATAR.

EDIT.
Ummm, just checked again.. still can't link to outside avie, although set in configuration.

when i am making categories and forums, i noticed that with the fisubice templates, the forum index looks like this

this was fixed at one time but through the many modifications it looks to be overwritten. You can just copy the integra2/index_box.tpl to fisubice.

I don't know if this was brought up before...

but inside blocks I can change colors using the html code but the size tag isn't being picked up.

the example is at

The board this is on is a subscription site...
On the live site:

View one of the subscription groups using the Memberlist link you see the member of the group and there is link to join that group.

On the RC5 site:
that link is missing and you have to follow the link to lwtopup.php and go thru there

I have a test user that I can give a user name and password to one of the mods here if they wanna peek

your avitar shows up for me in FF. I had to uninstall IE 7.0 because it was conflicting with some other more important software, so i cant check in IE atm

Not sure if its related but IE can show images if they appear in some nested html tags... Can't remember which ones but I do remember having to change the code in one template to display images... Mike

i switched themes, and it does the avatars do not show up for me.

let me say again, it only happens for me on this forum and it was happening before it was upgraded to 141.

integrmod.com

all other forums i visit that are IM and my IM 141 i can see them with no problem.

It shows for me too on my test board.

But I can't link to an avatar in userprofile.

A BUG.. maybe.

When on my testboard I go to Album and click on my Galleries (which I have none public of) I'm taking back to my forum.

Also.. once again I experience that greyed backgrounds on the album page.

There are two issues I see with it I thought would be resolved in the upgrades.

1) When required fields are added to the profile it does bring up the window with links for the user to fill in these fields but when the links are clicked they are taken to a generic area of the profile. Why can't the links go directly to the page with or the field that needs addressed. The profile is already a bit confusing but for a newcomer very much so.

2) When a group is setup as a pay group it does nothing to let the user know they must pay to be a member of the group and so far I can't even get the group to show a join link for that option to even work. We are setting up a pay section of our site for members but this did not work in 1.40 and I do not see how to make it work in this version either.

Ideas?

I suppose my reason for posting would be to find out if anyone has either of those working now or ever has because as I said they did not work before. I personally don't see a reason to incorporate a mod that is partially working into a new setup. I am hoping for the uniqueness of it all working unlike some of the other softwares out there being tweaked and worked on in the midst of Olympus. I for one don't mind waiting and contributing my fair share for the hard work but hope it will be less than beta after it is released. As you know there has been many releases of softwares with included mods that were still more than beta when it went live.

Thanks guys and I do know you all have been working hard on it as can be. I just need to know what to expect as we need ceratain features and need a direction to focus on.

I dont see it on http://www.founditforum.com/ and that is your 1.40 site right? Also ...that description does not sound how the mod is supposed to work. I looked on Lowens site and all docs (at a quick scan) seem to be for the mall.

No word as far as I know. Umm, I think a week or so ago I posted about this and they said they were working on a chmodder script and the upgrade path right now. Seems to me like they must be running into some problems but that's just my opinion. Usually doesn't take quite this long for the final to come out.

But then again, I'm happy because I found a PHP4 server to move my site to so I'm finally on a new server running under 2 second pageloads <img> niccceee
