Obviously adr-support is dead by now... I know it was still UP in 2013... Too bad they closed it. To be fair it was running Categories Hierarchy (pure) everything probably broke with newer PHPs lol.

Oh most certainly. That is kind of what I was thinking. I know between us both we have every mod ever released but unfortunately, that site was 100% loaded with great info. Gone forever unless there is a archived copy online somewhere. I saw one once before but them bookmarks I had are long since gone.

OzzieOne has a working copy for phpBB 3 as well. He took it and updated it. the original was full of security issues. However, it was made for the original phpBB 3.0.

Well, the Internet Archive has archived a big part of adr-support. Sometimes I go there to find some infos. Not all pages are archived obviously.
Ozzie's downloads are broken. They all weigh 0Kb. Plus I have so many mods added on top of EzArena, it'd take far too long to port them to phpBB3, and as you said, 3.0 is not compatible at all with 3.2.

That mod he never released in his database before he moved his website to the new one.
The only true wish I ever had was that it all looked smoother. Not sure that is the correct word. It is just all blocks. Good old tables. That and the adr_battle.php was a complete disaster but I'm more than sure that was probably one of your first things that you tackled.
I did like the way it was integrated into PCP with the tabs in the profile instead of one great big long page. I made the mistake once of putting the ADR profile on the same page as the public profile. Big mistake In my opinion.

Well his phpBB3 mod is out of the question. My version is too different.
I've been fixing PHP7+ errors. Just because I fixed the errors in the Integramod codebase doesn't mean ADR doesn't have its own share of issues...
Most of the ADR code was written by Dr. DLP in 2003. CH was also written in 2003, but ptirhiik did a much better job future-proofing it
(I'm saying that but I fixed more than 700 warnings in total on his code lol)

Great news: Ozzie has reappeared; and has fixed the download links to his ACP mods yesterday! I'll be able to take a look at them.

Nice! That is completely awesome. I was unaware. I have been itching to ask him about the News Grabber. It is pretty sweet. However, I do not know if it is as nice as the RSS feed grabber in Icy. At any rate, I would like to have it though for a side project.
I have been away for a short while now just for the sake of being away.

Hey Ray, good to hear from you.
I've been away since I started my new job, finding time when you're getting started is rough. Had my graduation ceremony 2 weeks ago, that feels pretty good. I think I'll be able to come back to AD&R this weekend or the next.
I had made pretty good progress in a commit last week, on the ADR branch.

Congrats man! That is good news for sure. I'm happy for you to say the very least. Nice!
And yeah I know how time can be short to be found at times. I have been meeting myself coming and going lately. More going the coming it seems.
I have been itching to have a play with some AD&R lately just for the hell of it. I always enjoyed modding and playing the game. Good times for as many rounds as the board owner allowed to be played. I look forward in the future seeing what all you have done with it.

Hi Ray.
I actually got robbed at home a few weeks back, and they took my computer.
Could you please try to install the ADR branch on github and report the bug?
All that should be missing is PCP integration and menu integration, but you can still access adr_character.php manually.
I don't know if the SQL is added to the install procedure tho.
Guess I can try to take it on a ride myself and see what's needed.

OK, I actually added the ADR SQL files to the
./adr/install/ directory.
Remember to run mysql_schema.sql before mysql_basic.sql

.

Actually I've written a very small, insecure, dev-only install script. That pulls data from the AD&R files, and installs it into the database. It's very raw, but it works nicely for development purposes.

Sorry to hear about the robbery man. That really sucks. People tend to duck in general man. Damn!
And sorry so long on the reply. Life really got busy for me. Trying to lvie the healthier life now and has me up and going constantly. Im down over 60 lb so far this year! Woot!!
Anyhow, yeah Ill go grab that file and take a look at a install.
And on a side note, do you happen to have a plain jane version of AD&R any version updated to run on the version of phpBB Helter Skelter and you were working on here a bit back .25 I think it was? I been itching to have a go at a plain jane AD&R install on a forum just to tinker with in my spare time.

Hi Ray,
Sorry for the delay. My new machine arrived on the 22th, and I'm still reinstalling things here and there as I go.
It doesn't help that I'm gonna be moving across Europe for a new job, so things move quickly in my life right now!
I think the sourceforge repo has all you need:
AD&R files and addons if you want to try some.
It's harsh on my conscience to realize I said I would start translating the version I have and still haven't... Oops.
Glad to know you're doing fine & gl on the health improvements! That takes a lot of dedication.
