| Did the bot that posted these also sign up to the forums as a user? Could be as easy as banning the user. Although, I'd advise to install an IP tracker. Austin has a decent one at http://www.phpbb-tweaks.com so that you can ban the IP as well. |

For the news block, it may be a setting in the ACP. Go to ACP>General Admin>Configuration+>Profile Options>Profile Settings>Reading, make sure "Display images" is set to Yes, and override user setting is set to yes.
I haven't found a solution to the port address being in the URL yet. |

| That MOD's already installed with IntegraMOD. I searched for some time to try and find one for phpBB without any luck. There are some for other systems that I took a look at, but to port them would be a big job. The Knowledge Base MOD would work nicely as a review MOD, you can turn on the ratin... |
