Well guys good work on 141 so far. The upgrade works great but I cannot seem to get my arcade to work. I have the amod ucp but when I try to add a game i get this error

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home2/csasmcom/public_html/forum/admin/admin_activity.php on line 70

that warning shows up 115 times once for each game i have. Once you get to the bottom of those errors you have the add game screen. If i try to add one of the games I get this error:

Couldn't save game data

If I resncy the games and go to bulk add games it says 115 games added but they are nowhere to be found in the amod ucp.


any ideas on fixing this. Im at a loss for now.

Well guys were are ya. I had to manually transfer my qbar over after the update. Would copying my amod files over maybe fix this??

I actually installed that on a beta version of 1.4.1 and it ran flawlessly. And that was weeks ago.

THink I figured out my prob. I just copied over the files from my 140 and then uploaded the 141 files and ran the update. I am going to re edit my instal files and see what happens.

Well I seem to have it installed and working. I did have a problem with viewtopic.php. The last lines to install in root/viewtopic.php are:

Didnt seem to matter where I put these lines I ended up with a white page when trying to view posts in the forum. Any help with this would be appreciated.

If you go to [url=http]Foundit Forum[/url] and follow his install for 1.4.0 in his KB article, you will have no probs at all.

I suggest you NOT follow Amods Install. It works fine on a vanilla BB even with Im Portal, BUt not so good with Integramod. I have been using Foundit Forum for a coupleyears now for referance every single time I install Activity Mod and have yet to bump into any problems but 1 and it had nothing to do with Foundit's method. It was 2 mods butting heads.

I dont moderate or have anything at all to do with the Foundit Forum what so ever, I just recommend it becasue simply enough, it works. <img>

Per Chance, is your board modded yet or os it a virgin? If so, there are premodded files you can use. If it is modded, use his root file sand follow walkthough.

I f you have any issues with certain files, pm me and I may be able to help if time permits.

naw its already modded. I checked it out and actually have a bit of both running. It is an excellent walkthrough of the install and on my board I have his full install now as well as a couple of installs from the regular amod install file. Even his fix for pages not showing works fine. Thanks for the link and I think I will try to add it to the knowledge base here if I am able. Come check out my arcade and see what you think. The only problem I seem to be having with it now is one game that keeps getting blocked by ctracker. Wheel of Fortune is the game.

And Hmmmmm on Wheel of Fortune. that was one of the first ones I played and didnt have an issue at all. Ill reinstall on my 1.4.1 board and ahve a look at it.

Yes, I highly recommend anytime you have to reinstall Activity Mod, use Foundit's KB. I preach it as it is gosspel. I have never went wrong once follwing his install. Gotta run chief, Have a great night.

Nope dont have that game but if you want to send it to me Ill upload it. As for wheel it works fine it is just that ctracker is blocking the upload of the score for some reason. Havent been through all my games yet still working on that.

Thats a little out of my league there, Cracker tracker sure is nice but sucks real bad at the same time. Its rendering most options on boards totally useless until there is a patch figured out.

Personally, I gave up on my site days ago. Teelk and Helter helped me figure some stuff out but I gave up on it. Until its all figured out, I refuse to use it anymore. Hope it all works out for ya. <img>
