Again strange image upload problem

On my old site i had this problem where i could only upload one image at a time, eventhough i setted it up to be able to upload 10 images. I never found the problem. So i though, maybe a fresh install will help, so i started comepletely fresh, and the first thing i tried was to get the 10 boxes to upload 10 images...and again...only one box for an image upload....Its driving me nuts, any ideas where i must look?
