What was done before the problem appeared?
Ok, I have three different usergroups for my clan website. Each one can see and do progressively more. However, we also have people in various groups that do things like moderate certain forums. I have given those people those privileges individually. It seems however that they keep on getting removed from the usergroup's that I add them to.

What was done to try to solve the problem?
I have tried to add them over and over again, to make it so their permissions don't contradict each other, and more, but nothing seems to work.

De.scription and Message

I'M AT WITS END!!! I really need to get this fixed before we really switch to this board. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Do I have to remove them from all usergroups that contradict their permissions? For instance, if they are a member of the PLA Usergroup, and that one says you can't edit something, and yet I set in their individual permissions that they can, since they are a admin of that section, do I have to remove them from that usergroup and set all their permissions manually? That would be a pain.

Also, can people be members of more than one usergroup?

Any help and recommendations in this area would be GREATLY appreciated.

i am interested in the user groups also, i have an autojoin group, that when a member makes 1 post, they should automatically be added to this group, even before the upgrade, sometimes they were added, sometimes not.

I have a auto join group that is set to 0 posts but people a lot of times don't get added also. This group is for me to have a list of people I need to move into other groups and to see who guests are.

P.S. Is there some way to make usergroups automatically get the corresponding tag?

Any idea's anyone. My moderators keep on losing their status, and clan members keep losing their status so they can't see or post in the clan member only sections. Kinda defeats the purpose of the new forum.

OK, just an update. I have I think figured this out. What was happening was that each of the usergroups were set on a post count. I had set them all to a ridiculous number so that no one could join unless I wanted them to. So basicly, I just had to uncheck the top checkbox in that list of three in the usergroup setup. This was caused, I believe by my confusion with the instructions on that page. Perhaps they could be updated in a future version.

As for the question about getting the corresponding tag, I have not seen anything, but would like an answer.

Sorry, could you clarify what you mean by tag?

Hmm, Ok, its the thing right above the avatar and below the online button. I don't really think it has a name. I have various ones set up that correspond to our usergroups(which I use just for permissions) and was wondering if I could have it set the tag for each person automatically that I bring into a group.

P.S. How goes the work on the passwording forums mod? I really need to use that.

That's the rank title I believe you're talking about. I don't believe that's currently possible, it would definitley be a nice addition. I'm working on Extended rank system mod right now and I'll see how easy it would be to add this feature.

The password protected forums/topics mod should be done today. Sorry, your request got lost in my todo list.

EDIT: Having a problem with the recent topics block integration. It may delay release.

Thanks SO much. I'll be looking for it, but don't feel rushed. I just need to get it up soon. Also, will that be released on the mod forum, or on here?
