nothing. worked last night, now it doesn't.

when I try to go to my forums, it says...

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

I know it is not my web host, because my old forums are working fine.

any suggestions?

ok, I just solved this

I found a post that said something may be wrong with config.php, so I checked it out.

sure enough, for some reason I used an IP address as the dbhost and my host changed that IP today.

I changed that to my site domain (instead of the IP) and it works fine now. Hopefully that may help you too dan. I guess sites move their IP's around at the end of the month.

that's why it's always better to provide a domain adress instead of an IP adress <img>

that would be your browser cache as there is no automatic entry for that field
