I want to add a button to BBCode that adds [ dice ] [ /dice ] to highlighted text. I already have the code in and working so that if I manually type that bb code in it works, I just need a button next to the table button that adds that code.

Thanks, but that didn't work. The tutorial is for adding BBCode button on a phpbb board and Integra is alot different. I actually got the button to show up, but clicking on it does absolutly nothing. The help line doesn't even show up. The only thing that works about it is the button shows up and the ALT text works, thats it.

The tutorial says to look for "bbtags = new Array( " in posting_body.tpl but no such thing exists in that tpl file. Here is my posting_body.tpl

There is one thing I know you have to edit, but I don't know what you have to put in that file.
Look at
mods/bbcode_box/bbcode_box.js and
mods/bbcode_box/bbcode_box_a.js
The first file is for the board, the second one is for th ACP.

I can't help you further, bacause I'm not a java.script coder...

yeah, I can't seem to get it working. I tried getting into it and I got kinda got in over my head, played around with it, ended up screwing things up so I re-uploaded my backups.

Here's the procedure for IM 1.4.1 board:

In this example my button is used to link a WoW item in the forum, so it basically adds the following tags:

The button images are called item.gif and item1.gif (item1 is used to show the button pressed).
I am adding the button on the top of the bbcode box, right hand side of the spellcheck button. There's a lot of place there.

In this code you have to ] and [/item] by your own tags of course
* replace the images names (item.gif and item1.gif)
* adapt the string "wowitem" with the "[color=orange]something" you put above
* adapt BBCitem() with the BBCsometing you put above

SAVE AND CLOSE ALL FILES
