What was done before the problem appeared?
I have tried to use various features that use the internal mail server, but everything says that it isn't working, or is being blocked for some reason. Therefore I have tried various external main servers. Only problem is, is that as far as I can tell, you can't do a SSL server(which most mail servers are now aday's) with this forum software.


What was done to try to solve the problem?

Is it possible to use SSL servers with this integramod, or is there some way for me to fix the internal mail server. I don't know much about that stuff, so I thought I'd ask here.

A lot of hosting companies block the .php mail function, if this is the case, and you pay for hosting, you should ask them if they would unblock it for you.

If you are running it from a home server, your ISP might be blocking it, and allot of ISPs offer special plans with static IPs that would work, usually have to pay a little extra of course.


As far as using an external SMTP; I have only been able to get that function to work once when it was with the same e-mail account that my site used, but again some host block that function as well... <img>

I have tried using the mail server that the hosting company provides, however, this uses SSL. So you see my problem.
