[Solved] Portal is dead afther upgrade from 1.40 to 1.41

What was done before the problem appeared?
upgrade to from 1.40 to 1.41


What was done to try to solve the problem?
copien files from full install to board ==>> result board died.

Placed all old files back forum is running again but no portal

Could not query SP config information

hmmm no answer yet slow board here

but okay i made some changes and de portal is now visble

only the album is not visible in portal and when i click on a picure i get following critical error

could be a fiew things. Not sure from your post.

1) Did you delete the install and config.php files from the 141 package before you uploaded it.

2) Did you download the upgrade file and Upload the install folder from this update package and visit db_update_to_141.php with your browser.
The .script must be run from the install folder.

eg. http://www.yoururl.com/forum/install/db ... to_141.php

3) Do you have a backup of your original database?

what do you think? a board will not run if install dir is not deleted

But i wil place back all old files and copy all files from 1.41 to my board again execpt install dir and config.php and wil run afther that update_to_141.php to see what happen

No the install in the full download is only for a new board. That is why there is a seperate download for updating your board. Make sure you fully read the install file and the readme that comes with the upgrade download and it will tell you exactly what you have to do.

And dont forget to change the chmods on the appropriate files.

also i do not have following dirs in 1.40

Complete the following CHMOD permission changes using your ftp client.

For updating from 1.4.0 to 1.4.1

Step 1.

Upload all files from the IntegraMOD 1.4.1 package, with the exception of config.php and the install and prill_install folders.

NB: DO NOT overwrite config.php with the one from the package.


in the package i dowloaded is only a instal map with upgrade from 1.32_and1.40 to 1.41 but no where i can see the files Upload all files from the IntegraMOD 1.4.1 package!!!!

I've also got an issue I just noticed.

If you click the "Index/Archive/Catagory" links, or the link to the forum post itself, it gives you a 400/403 Forbidden error. Before the upgrade, I never had that problem.

[PS-Pardon the look of the place, but I've had to stop. I've been skinning my two Integramod sites all day and I needed a break <img>]

Jupper you have to dl the full 141 mod as well as the update. Then copy over all the 141 mod files except the ones i said not too. The files you need to chmod are in the full mod dl.

Read this and it will guide you through it.

I'am asking myself where are Wekke en Teelk they always made before a proper upgrade with all files included i wil go find them i read abouth the problems they had on this board so there must be a other integramod team!

before they where always to find and to help @ http://www.integramod.com and http://www.integramod2.com IÃÂÂ ¡m sure they started a new website.

I will wait for them with the upgrade or on the Dutch board for the upgrade.

ya and a second wow to that. And yes you are welcome for the help. Teelk has been around whenever I have had a problem so far. This is a new mod so have a little patience and let the bugs work themselves out. Funny yours is the first negative Ive seen. Guess that says something!!

lol... Weeke was never at integramod2. he was at integramod.com, and for the last two years was hardly ever there. THIS site IS integramod2 and Teelk is one of our administrators/developers. I understand that you are frustrated, but trash talking the site wont help. This is the only official Integramod site left. Integramod.nl , while never an official IM site, has now released thier own version of IM141, but I have no idea what they have done with it, unless they copied ours. (not that this is bad, I would rather have them copy us, than release yet another unsupported version)

this site is using, either an rc version of 141, or a partially ported 140 template.

I need to learn to type. There was a typo in the news configuration, so it was saying "http://www.dickdynamite.com/forum/portal.phpportal.php?topic_id=40" instead of "http://www.dickdynamite.com/forum/portal.php?topic_id=40"

MY problem is solved. There's still the other one, though.
