i added a link in my top nav bar for New Post (post since last visit), what i would like to know, is how can i get it to show how many new post there is like in the user block? i see it it like this on other forums, and i was wanting to have my link display the number of new post also.

good question... when i look at the qbar item for new pm's, it looks like the trigger is the %d (%d new message)that's there.... but i can't see where to add it....

just putting %d new posts isn't working... i think there's something we have to add somewhere to make it work?

the easiest way is to add this mod

and limit the template edits to only the info you want
