What was done before the problem appeared?
Installed and got the board up.

What was done to try to solve the problem?
All sorts of combinations of JR. Admin permissions given, switching between making a user a mod, regular admin, regular user with Jr. Powers, ect. Nothing worked.

No reports. There's not much to actually say. It's a new forum. We're just trying to set up a certain user or two with some extra permissions and such.

I've been away from development for a while (illness) so I can't say much but there looks like there is a Jr. Admin problem... Not sure if it relates to security so I best leave this one of the other guys... I will check it out on my test site in the mean time...

Well, first off, I'm glad you're at least feeling better enough to be on your computer, and that you survived the illness. Michaelo:1, Death: Nothing!

Secondly, I've tried every combination I can think of. I know that it worked on 140, because my dickdynamite.com site has a test account as a Jr. Admin and that works just fine, even though, like GR, I can't make more Jrs.

JR Admin was working on my 140 site before. I haven't checked with 141 yet. I will take a look at it today and see.

I created a jr. admin on my site with power to manage users. Works just fine as far as I can tell... he can edit user accounts and he shows with jr. admin color when online.

He was in a group with moderator powers and I just added a module and it worked...

Nevermind. It worked now. It was a ID-10T error. But I blame Congress.

I'm going to guess others might make the same "ID-10T" error... maybe share what silly mistake you were making?

The thing is, I'm not quite sure what I did that got it to work. I had an admin, and gave him all modules, then set his status back to "user" and it made him Jr.Admin. But it doesn't work with anyone else. I'm still tweaking with just WHAT exactly I did or didn't do to see how to get it working. But it does work, so I'm thinking I just don't know what I'm doing.
