How to make your own variable

PostAuthor: Frost » Sat Mar 24, 2007 5:02 am

I have no idea how to word this and ask this question but I'm going to try <img>

Example

First with what I am trying to accomplish

You last visited on Today at 5]

What I have

Last Visit: %s

So pretty much all I'm doing is adding different lang entries to change the text to display the same thing as before. But I want where it displayed already to remain the same.

So You last visited on becomes Last Visit

So I was wondering how you add the info to load inside the %s

-------

What I've done

Made and added the files]bf_user_block_block.tpl
forum/blocks/blocks_imp_bf_user_block.php

Edited the files to include:

forum/language/lang_english/lang_main.php -> Added $lang['Bf_last_visit'] = 'Last Visit]

forum/templates/efusion/bf_user_block_block.tpl -> Added {BF_LAST_VISIT}

I've never tried this before and I have already learned so much about it and it comes pretty easy but I'm stuck now. Is there anyone who is experienced in this field or preferably knows of a link describing everything about what I'm trying to do.

Thanks
