Tried chmoding pages to 777 but google says this is a issue with server configuration.

I currently run my site on a reseller account that has cpanel with it. This error started with the albums only but now seems to randomly happen with other parts of the sites. The users see a error like 404 or the one that shows up 97% of the time is a 403. When I login into cpanel to see the error log it shows client denied by server configuration with the page or file they requested. My tech said they fixed it but it is still happening causing me to loose members ahs any one else seen this or have a idea how to fix this.

I've been getting the same 404 Error but only in the ACP on some functions. I installed firefox and it was ok for a bit, and then it started on firefox with the 404 error. I thought this might be a browser issue so I deleted all my files, cookies, etc on my browser and tried again. Didn't fix the problem.

seems to get worse the more you visit the pages of a site. I also disabled hotlink protection per some elses idea and even created a custom .htaccess file to overide the httpd.conf but no luck.

do you have a software firewall installed on your server? I had similar issues when I first installed my firewall using default settings. Since I didnt know the proper settings, I had someone else re-install it and set it up correctly for a web server.

I will ask the hosting company most likely they prob are using apf (advance policy firewall) which is a addon to iptables that alot of cpanel hosts use.

This seems to be a quick growing problem and I am completely stumped <img>

start copy n pasting the exact error from each browser (at your convenience) you use and get the error here

Same error with every common browser ie, firefox, mac ie, netscape. It seems to be a integramod setting as it happens when ever alot of data is accessed / loaded in a short peorid of time, almost as a throttle and I have seen a few other posts about this.
