What was done before the problem appeared?

What was done to try to solve the problem?

De.scription and Message

When trying to upload backup file to restore database, it says "File not uploaded".
Would this be caused by a firewall on the host server?
Or is this a problem within the programming?

what is the file extension your trying to upload? I believe it needs to be .sql , .gz , or .tar.gz

there is also a size limitation for the file. If your forum is not new, it more than likely exceedes this limit. I would recommend using "BigDump"

Using the backup file from the daily backups in the backup folder. They are .sql files about 6000-6200kb

I looked at that download and not sure how to setup properly. So I'll try it later.

upload the folder. Put your backup in the folder. edit bigdump.php with your db info. Using your browser, go to http://www.yoursite.com/dump/bigdump.php
