I added yahoo to bots management using some I found in another forum.

Yahoo MMCrawler|Yahoo Slurp|Yahoo|YahooSeeker

It has shown many pending yahoo bots and I added the following IP's

What I am finding though is that the pages and visits are still at 0
And the Last Visit still shows Never.

Why would this be?

The problem is most likely because once you add the bots, they still have to visit your site again in order to be counted. All that you're doing by adding the pending bots is adding the IP addresses to the list of recognized IP's. So then the next time they visit it will show up.

ok I get that.

Something I'm finding is that when I add a yahoo pending bot, the pages count for the Lycos goes up by 2.
When I add a Lycos pending bot, the page count for Lycos goes up by 2.

Why would yahoo affect lycos? Are they similiar?
