Problems with Integra upgrade

What was done before the problem appeared?
I had phpBBfm installed, then i run its unistall utility and so i come back to phpBB 2.0.22


What was done to try to solve the problem?

I had phpBBfm installed, then i run its unistall utility and so i came back to phpBB 2.0.22


Now i would like to install IntegraMod...

I uploaded all the new files, except the config.php file. Then i downloaded this file "phpbb_to_im141.zip" and i uploaded this file "phpbb_to_im141.php" to the install directory.

When i run it, it says me:

What i can do in order to upgrade my phpBB 2.0.22 to the Integra Mod?

this has to be the second time the 141 .script was run because the version info was already in your db. You can edit phpbb_config using phpmyadmin and find the IM version "1.4.1" and change to "1.4.0", then re-run the update .script

now it works...

but i can't log in with my admin account, it says everytime:

I try to unlock my nick, but when i login again, it gives me again the same error...

i tryed with others account and it says always the same thing <img>

(i've installed 1.4.0 for the moment, then i'll upgrade to 1.4.1)


in user table, all teh field related to "login attempts" are setted to "0"

did you click on the forgot password link?

it'll email you a temporary password to get you through the door, then once you're in, you can change it

EDIT: when other users tries to log out they receive "invalid session"

EDIT1: when i try to unlock my account, it says me: ok, now u can log in again. But when i try it says me again that my account is locked...

but if i try... it says me that my account is again locked...

at the other users says that their session is invalid...

have you tried changing your login attempts in the 2 cells in your database?

in the phpbb_users table

in the cells:

phpBBSecurity_login_tries
user_login_tries

change them to like 1 or 0 and see if that lets you (make them match)

Make a backup of that table before you edit anything, though, jic

nothing... i already tried to do this... but there is always the same problem...

i think there is some problem with user/session or cookies...

i deleted my old cookies... but nothing changed...

what can be at this point?

i think it's not a password problems...

i think problem is related to the code of the login attempt... there is a way to delete it?

i think you're right... for the simple fact that the password sent isn't resetting you.. it's like one part thinks you're locked and the other doesn't or something.

i thought i had read a post talking about disabling the login security.. i'll see if i can find it

if you have a backup of your database? maybe your can replace the phpbb_users table and see if it's just corrupted

i can't replace my phpbb_users table because it is too large, about 18mb...
but i think it's ok because all fields are right... <img>

banlist is empty and the user login field are setted to "0"

so i'm not explain to me why it tell me that accounts are blocked if the user fields are setted to Zero...

i think there is a problem with ctracker mod or something else... i read a topic on how to remove it, but i can't enter in my ACP, so i can't remove it...

there is a little problem:

i tried to upgrade to 1.4.1 but it gives me the same errors...


the problems is that in this version i've downloaded i don't have any folder named as "ctracker" and in common.php file there is no reference to ctracker

is it normal?



EDIT: i used 1.4.1, i disabled ctracker as de.scripted in that topic, but nothing changed...
all accounts are still locked...

but it's incredible... all user files are setted to "0" so in what way it says that theu are locked... boh! <img>

i know that if you're upgrading from 140, you have 2 downloads... you have the upgrade folder, but you still have to download the 141 package (that has all the files / folders) as well.

if you only ran the install folder, and didn't upload the boat load of files, you only upgraded the database, not the program itself

but you said you're missing the CT folder??

that's part of the new upload, though.

have you tried uploading a fresh install to a new folder and importing your data to a fresh database just to see if it runs right?

Did you setup your security page to lock # of admins and moderators.
I found if you have it set to 8 moderators and you actually have 9, they get locked out because you exceeded the amount entered.

I know I saw mention I think from Helter about everyone banned from site. The admin had to go through his database and manually remove bans.

I wonder if the same thing needs to be done with locked users.

I have fixed this prob for others, but im drawing a blank as to how i did it.
also, add one of the banned users to the file. from phpbb_users
you can zip it and upload it to some obscure place on your webspace and pm me a link to it, then remove it...for security <img>

it appears that phpBBfm asigns user id's a little differently. First there is no anonomous account (user id -1) and your board founder account looks to be user id 1

you can upload your database to a new one if you break it up in sections instead of doing it in one huge upload.
