Is this possible to have a game mod for my site. For members to play?

You need to download the mod from [url=http]HERE[/url]

and then follow the walk through from [url=http]Here[/url]

this has been tried and tested on both 1.4.0 and 1.4.1 sites.... there are a few other helpful hints in the comments section..

That's... Long one, ha. I shall do it on friday night since I have nothing to do.

it doesn't take long... i got everything uploaded and the mod itself installed in about 25 minutes.

it's the finding the games and configuring them that sometimes is a bit tedious, but it's SO worth it, it's a great mod!

Do I have to download games, or something? Is the games already in the mod?

Games and game packs are in the downloads section of the first site I gave you a link for.....just upload them to your game folder and then install through the admin panel...

I tried the install and found a problem.

OPEN ADMIN/INDEX.PHP

FIND

case PAGE_FAQ:
$location = $lang['Viewing_FAQ'];
$location_url = "index.$phpEx?pane=right";
break;

There are 2 instances of case PAGE_FAQ, but never look the same as the rest of the info in the find.
So I put it with the first one.

I have the ACP area, but don't see anything on the forum/home page showing games. I haven't installed them yet so maybe something will show once it's installed the games.

I've got all the games installed, and figured how to find them.

But I got the following errors:

Ok I got it working.
I had changed the configuration and turned on the rewards: points system
But apparently these points aren't the same points system used in the posting system i guess.

The cash won't work either.

in the ACP > Cash Mod > Cash Currencies

how many do you have?

When you enter the currency name in the Amod, make sure you're using the field name, not the "name of the currency"

it should have a user_ name to it.

I made sure I got rid of the "points" currency that was originally there and replaced it with my own

I have user_points, so I put that in the required spot.

I'm not sure, but isn't your name in the who's online block supposed to be a different color if your playing a game?

Or is it supposed to identify when playing games?

under "playing games" it should list all the users who are using the arcade

It does, but I thought I read in the instructions about showing in the who's online on the index page

I installed it.
Then I went to ACP > amod + admin > Template->make_filename(): Error - template file not found: admin/game_add_body.tpl

And I searched for the file in my server, and it isn't there, and as well I looked in the folder that is a game in it, and the file isn't there either.

Template->make_filename(): Error - template file not found: admin/activity_admin_main.tpl
That's in edit game.

Then go to http://www.killyourboredom.com/activity.php

I downloaded EVERY THING, and followed the instruction.

And still get this. I've went over twice on this one.

For droplist. I have looking every where and it said "choose game" that's it, and as well I installed activity aplus mod.

And in configuration

I tried to find the file in there as well, and it isn't there.

If any one want to do this for me, and go over to make sure I don't miss any thing, or try to get this work for me. I will make you an account for you to go through in the ACP and as well give you ftp information to try to fix it.

activity_config_body.tpl came with the mod itself (i can only speak for activity mod because that's what i had installed) you should have uploaded that to the admin folder in your template folder.

in the activity mod download, you can find that file in RoottemplatessubSilveradmin folder, it's not a file that comes with integramod

Sorry, you need to use the activity page to play games & not link to them directly
i am trying to get it working for 2 days now but don't know what to do now

Joshie couldn't figure it out so he gave me access to look it all over.
I found he missed 3 files to be changed in the instructions.
When working, you'll get a couple crackertracker errors when submitting scores and altering game settings in the admin screen.
You also have to do the fix in the instructions that refers to changing pages. When you clcik on a page other than 1, you will get a sql error.

You should double check your file changes and if still stuck, maybe find someone to look it over. 2nd pair of eyes sometimes sees something you didn't.

Follow the walkthrough at [url=http]Foundit Forum[/url] and it will work flawlessly. I have installed this mod atleast 50 times in the past for many people and every time I use foundit forum and have never had a single issue ever. Read carefully, edit carefully. Installing is not a race. Slow and easy and it shall work accordingly. <img>

And for games and game packs as well, also visit the mod creators site at [url=http]phpBB-Amod.com[/url]. There is many a support articles and updates and fixes for the activity plus mod there as well.

fust i will try what Major.Pain told me if this docent work then i start over and follow MWE_001

So true my sun have fount something i overlook t all the time it was in the activity php file it works now and the games work <img>

the only thing i have to do now is to get the character page working Cracker Tracker is blocking when i made a character

When I click on the walkthrough link I get this error...


You don't have permission to access /forum/kb.php on this server.

Any ideas..I am a total newbie at this..just installed this nice forum software, now gonna attempt the activity mod.....wish me luck......
