Allowing selected access to the board

I'm currently setting up and tweaking my new site, and consequently have the board disabled until I'm done.

The biggest task outstanding now is the hard bit - entering content, and I have a few people helping me do that. By creating the users as admins, they can obviously access the board to assist me, even though its disabled.

The question is, is there a way to allow users to access the board whilst disabled without having to give them admin access?
