Hello, i have recently upgradeded my phpbb to an integramod board. I'm hoping this can be a success, but i am having a problem, when i go here, http://www.uswarez.info/forum/phpbb_to_im141.php to upgrade, i get this error message,

Any help for me?

As far as I can see, you're trying to call the install .script from your root (where the index.php and portal.php is), but it should be in a subfolder: install

So if you copied all other files correctly, simply create the install folder in your root (if it's not present yet) and move the phpbb_to_im141.php into the install folder. Then it should work <img>

Your install url would then be: http://www.uswarez.info/forum/install/p ... _im141.php

um.. Fatal error: Call to undefined function: session_pagestart() in /home/fatal/public_html/forum/includes/functions.php on line 1714

now, i get this problem

weird... are you sure all files are in the correct location? It could be that you've uploaded everything onto a wrong level and it's now trying to apply the upgrade on the default forum's functions.php (which obviously will get some error, somewhere)

check if you have the portal.php in your forums root (think in your case that would be: http://www.uswarez.info/forum/portal.php

And make sure that your previous original forum was in that same folder /forum

Aside from that... have you made sure all the CHMODs are correct?

Actually... it depends... I use a program that has a few more features then a regular notepad... If you're using notepad, you will probably just see everything scrambled up anyhow.

I like using CrimsonEditor... google for it... it's free! <img>
(there are probably beter ones though... it's just I like this one!)

well, to view my files, I use the cPanel, edit file..., ok?

The install/update .script runs upto line 4199 fine... then somewhere something happens it doesn't like, which triggers the error.

yeah probably fine! there are tons of little programs that will do the job. i'm gonna have another look at what is supposed to happen starting the "Personal Albums Migration" where it runs into an error... but this might be something to leave to the pros! Don't wanna make false statements.

do you also have the "prill_install" folder present btw?

Don't know if you get the choice to install it or not... but if you don't get the choice, I assume that the upgrade would include that as well.
Just don't understand why it wouldn't give a prill-install error then... so really not sure, sorry!

I'm also dead tired and unfortunately I must have some sleep. Wish I could have found a quick solution, but i'm sure the real pros will take good care of you soon! Otherwise I'll check in on the topic again tomorrow <img>
