I am trying to add text to the default Extra Menu that sits benath the Nav Bar. Specifically I want to add the IntegraMod and phpBB credit and copyrights to the side so that they are are more visible. It seems like there are two ways to control/configure this block:

1) ACP -> General Admin -> Qbar -> Second Menu
2) ACP -> IM Portal -> Blocks Management -> IntegraMOD default -> Extra Menu

The first method caters to adding just links so I used the second method to enter text and set the block to Active. The block shows up but the (BBCode) text does not. I feel like I am missing a simple step here to get the text to display properly. Help?

extra menu is a nav block. I think what your trying to do would best be accomplished by using a basic block.
leave "Block File:" empty
if you select a block file in the "Block File:" section, then nothing you enter in the text input area will be used.
if you use bbcode, be sure to select the bbcode button. You cannot mix html and bbcode within the same block
