I am trying to ad the age field in the register page via P.C.P. but for some reason it appears on the Example but doesnt show in the register part of the profile, why is it not updating on submit?

it may be a cache issue. Try deleting your cache in acp/eXtreme styles
if it still doesnt appear try a "hard" refresh "Ctrl + F5"

Hya I have done as you suggest but still no joy, I have altered some of the other field to see if they are updating in the Registration information and seem to be working fine so seems to be the age thing for some strange reason.

I have now got it to show but wat setting to I need to do so I get the age showing on the left like below

Select Page "phpbb view topic Left" and push "Add/Remove Page fields" button

Move user_age field from the left box to the right and Submit

Unfortunatly it wont let me do it as the stupid security alert comes up <img>

Is there anyway I can do this manualy via phpmyadmin? the security thing just wont let me do anything

Well I have managed to ad it to the right panel thanks to another post with a temp fix for the security issue.

I did try by putting in debug mode but still got the pink box but the fix from the above link sorted it out so I could access the area, however I still cant insert a birthday and still only getting this;

I have also noticed that in the configuration plus in general configuration via ACP there is no "Override user choices:" in the profile registration part.
When I try to add my birthday in my profile and then click submit it comes up profile updated but when I go back to check it hasnt actually saved what I put in.

I am not 100% sure if all the values are set right so have been thinking of doing a second forum then I can check all the settings are right.

Exported these as a backup then dropped them, reinstalled the forum, dropped the tables that are in the backup and then uploaded the backup.
