After I attempted to install the Shop Mod V3 I recieved reports that players weren't able to register, recieving the following error

Fatal error]
I read about a similar problem on this site (and bumped the topic but recieved no answer) as the solution didn't allow players to register. I commented out the code in the file
[code] $pass = md5($pass); $profile_security->pw_create_date($view_userdata['user_id']);
and players were able to register once again. However, ever since then accounts have not been activating properly, some work flawlessly and are able to be used immediately while others are activated (either through email or through my own testing) but still behave as if they are inactive. Shop Mod seems to be working fine but there is a problem with the PcP and the item page not showing up (the block shows up but there is neither text nor link there) which I could not solve and presume might be at the root of the problem.
I've disabled CTracker as best I can and I've even gone as far as a field by field SQL comparison through MySQLCC but again to no avail. I'm about at my witt's end here!
