Have looked over most of the 141 support forum and seen some issues with adding Signature in profile

in General Admin/Configuration
have set
Maximum signature length
Maximum number of characters in user signatures to "0"
and
Maximum number of lines to "0"
and
Maximum number of characters with no space to "0"
and set
Maximum images size
In principle, image size control must not be problematic on this board. Nevertheless, if an image size cannot be checked, set if the image must be allowed by default or refused to 200x500 and checked the box for "allowed by default or refused"

any one else have any ideas why i cant add sigs to profile's in this new install.
could sure use some help? avatars work fine?

have you tried it WITH limitations first?

i have mine set to:

Allow Signatures Yes
Maximum signature length 500
Maximum number of lines 5
Maximum number of characters with no space 100
Text font size [size] Free
Font size limitations or imposed size 7 / 12

What is it doing when you try to add a signature? Are you getting any errors??

yes i have tryed it with settings and when i try to add sig the page trys to load but than the page goes blank with no errors?

just a white page which page is pulling in blank?

Ok have rechecked my setting and found in "Profile/Your profile/Administration"
and set "Can display his signature" to No - Yes controled "Yes not controled " after i set it to not controled it let me add my sig, wondering why it would have to be set to not controled when i have it set in the config section to allow sig's?? it was set to "yes controled" when it would not let me add sigs? but any way thanks for responding so quick, it is fixed now and can be marked solved

what's the setting in general admin > configuration + > profile? there's a setting there for the sig, which i believe sets the default

its set to Always attach my signature - yes and override user choice set to "no"

so i dont know what could have been making it not work with the setting it had, but its working now the way i explained what i had to do to change it thanks
