How 2 Ad more lines in left kolom for information

I need 1 more line for out Board so that people can ad what kind of motorcycle they have is this possible and easy to do?

Hope theire is sombody to help us it is nice to know wich motorcycle sombody have <img>

i have that for my site.

i added a personal quote... i reused an existing field that I know I'll never use and modified it.

umm... let me try to remember what i did just a sec while i step through it again... brb

Manage fields

Select a field that's has the mannerisms you want to mimic (Like a free fill field or whatever)... i just looked at the profile page and picked a field that allows you just to type whatever in it... ( you can click on field info to see what the field is, if you forget)

in the select a new field, you select a field you're never going to use and you're going to recycle it to work the way you want.

once you do that, go to Alter Form Display and select the page you want to add it to, this will be the location of the item for the user to to fill it out.

I added mine to the profile settings.. Profile ÂÂ » Profile ÂÂ » Your profile ÂÂ » Public information ÂÂ » Personal information

click on add /remove page fields to add your field (remember, it's going to have the name that you selected to recycle)

add it from the available fields... and position it wherever you want.

Once it's added, make sure that it has the characteristics you want... i checked show visibility and type - text box (check the example part at the bottom of the screen to verify it's what you want )Click submit.

Now you want to alter page display to have it show in the profile.. so go to Alter Page Display (saw that one coming, didn't you? lol )

Select where you want the information to be displayed.

I chose phpBB ÂÂ » View Topic ÂÂ » View Topic to display it in their post profile.

Click on Add Remove Page Fields to add the field

add it and adjust the location like you did on the form display, then hit submit and it'll take you back to the display page... alter it however you like from here.... and decide when to display it.

sorry i do not understand how to make a new field

I saw a field name username where sombody can wtite his name

I want to have a new line like username only then what kind of bike you have? where the member can write his type of bike

I can't find any where a option to add a new field <img> only to manage fields so what i do wrong?

you're not making a new field, you're selecting one that you don't use and changing it into the format you want... just follow my instructions and you'll see it'll be whatever you want it to be, just in the background, where your members don't see, it'll have a different name

how do i know wich one is not used and not distroy my board?

go into your wizard and look... i wasn't using the occupation field (occ), so i used that one... if you have changed the profile page and removed fields, you can use those... it's just a matter of looking, you'd be surprised how many you're not using!!

I hope sombody who speaks Dutch can help me i tried for more then 1 week now and can not get it running also always ctcracker stops every move so i had enolugh of it for this week <img>
