My Problems with IM141

hi,

i have just installed im141. love it so much cos its is almost the same as my current phpbb2 forum plus importal. or i can say... the im141 is more advance... <img>

after testing it for a while, i noticed the date and time of the posted messages are wrong.. i have already set my time as GMT +8. my clock and date is working fine. anyone knows where did i miss out the setting?

i do a search and found that the hosting server location may affect the time... so i change it according...

when it is

GMT+8 the date and time is 24 jun 2007 0130am

GMT-8 the date and time is 24jun 2007 0530pm

still incorrect... anyone can help me?

you need to set the forum timezone to the servers timezone, then set your timezone in the profile, then set daylight savings to your area

haha... now i got the time right... i am a bit confused cos my phpbb2 forum sets the timezone for all.... guess by doing the im141 way, anyone from anywhere will be able to see the date and time correctly based on the timezone... <img>

i saw the utube mod and i wanna install it.

do i do it manually or is there a mod that i can run the .script in im141?

the mod in the dl section will work for IM141, but yes, you have to follow the install instructions in the dl

i going to add extra templates to my site. i d/l the dark template.

when i unzip it.. wow.. so many files...

do i upload them into my forum folders and overwrite the existing ones??

sorry... i managed to figure it out... copy to the template folder and then import style...

ok.. now got 1 problem.. i cant delete my PMs.. everytime i marked the messages, click delete, it log me out of the site... then log in again, PMs still exists...

anyone?

check in your db under phpbb_config that the cookie_path and .script_path are set to point correctly to your site. You can dl and use cookieMOD from the general dl section here to set your cookies
