Installing Themes

I've taken over a website from a friend who used to run it prior to me and before this I've had no knowledge of IntegraMOD or PHPBB at all. However I've got my head around things and with help from peeps on here I've found my feet somewhat.

I've downloaded the SubBlack theme as currently I have the AcidTech theme installed on IntegraMOD 141 and there are a few icons missing, so I thought I'd like to get a proper 141 theme installed, can anyone tell me what I need to do?

Thank you,

Steve

unzip it and upload it to your site/templates using your ftp client

in your forum go to acp/eXtreme styles/Styles managment/Install Styles:

I've got the smartDark theme installed and it's looking good, however the text on some of the posts is a bit too dark, is there a way for me to alter the text colour on the either the posts or the whole board?

Thanks very much,

Steve

why is it that when i installed the dark template with the 7 different colours attatched to my site they were huge and stretched everything making the site look unkempt and untidy ?
what causes this and what can be done to make them fit snugly around everything?
thanks

if you installed it and it does not look like the theme demo, check that you css file is complete. Occasionally when adding files via ftp, your ftp client(program) will loose connection and files will be dropped, or corrupted.
What is your sites url?

Stevey1976 sorry I missed your post. The easiest way to edit the colors you want is to dl a "color picker", pick the color you want to change by selecting it from your site. Open your theme css file and do a "find" for the color # from the "color picker".
It is safest to change one color at a time in case you chose the wrong css class to edit and you need to "undo"
