Where's the permission management? Like, giving permission for user to delete post, or edit post, etc?

And. I got hacked yesterday, I am wondering what's way to prevent a hacker?

Did you actually get hacked and they deface your board or did a spammer post as a guest....?

If you were hacked you need to report any changes you made to your board so we can see if there is a security issue...

Regarding forum permission goto ACP/forum management and then click on the forum you wish to change the permissions for...

Did you change the CT_level to LOW?
So,etimes MEDIUM doesn't fix and you get the same result.

It was a whole site hacked. Somehow, they managed to get into my FTP and editted index.php and put it says "Hacked by "whatever the person name was". I can't remember the person name, but I sure do remember it said USA terror and as well graphic moon on there.

I was hack siilar last year by FTP, thing was at one time my hosting place made the FTP access folders for other users above my htdocs folder. Giving them higher level access.

same time this year they are now just using .scripts to hog up cgi connections though are doing it server wide on my hosting place.

may 06 they defaced every site they could get into. june 07 they are stealing cgi resources from every site they can. Making the whole hositng place slow to a crawl.

The same happened to me on http://www.worldandme.net today!
