Nothing.

What was done to try to solve the problem?
Virus scan, used multiple computers, tried different browsers, checked other sites and forums.

De.scription and Message

Hey All,

If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated.

Here's the problem.

I was playing a couple of games this morning in the arcade on my forum this morning and then suddenly my browser started refreshing. At first I thought I had hit the refresh button so I went on to play a game again. About 30 seconds later, it refreshed again. I had done nothing in the ACP so I don't think it has anything to do with that.

Anyway, after several times of this happening, I scanned for viruses, phishing and adware stuff and found nothing. It continued to refresh. So, then I went to another website and it stopped happening. I then went to several forums and it wasn't happening there either. I went back to my site and it resumed refreshing. I then went to my ACP and it says this under the IntegraMod News:

IntegraMOD 1.4.0 is finally here!! Updated 12/08/05

Enjoy its new functions and spread the word <img>

Yesterday it didn't say that. It said something about IntegraMod 1.4.1.

I tried browsing my site with Firefox and IE6 & 7 and it still refreshes. I went onto another computer and it continues to refresh.

Does anyone know what is going on?

the refreshing does not have anything to do with your acp IntegraNews function. It could be caused by your shoutbox though. Do you have html allowed in posts? it is possible one of your users has posted a meta refresh somewhere. You should be able to find it with a search forum for "refresh"

Your acp connected to the original integramod news file because I recently restored the original integramod site for search puposes and by doing so, temporarily overwrote the most current news file.

Actually, I know this sounds crazy but the site is pretty new so there have been no posts made yet to the actual forum. The people who have used it thus far have used the arcade. However, following your instructions, I turned off the html and it still refreshes.

Any other ideas? It really is annoying and stops all of my users from doing anything. On a side note, I noticed the only time it doesn't refresh is when I am in the ACP. When I get out of it though, it goes back to refreshing every 30 seconds.

Wouldn't be html - We can't post in html.

It has never worked and a fix has never been found.

Html only shows code in post when enabled.

Been trying to get this fixed for a long time so we could use Paypal 'Pay Now' buttons in our store section.

I figured it out and it was so simple yet so easily overlooked.

The other day before I left for the weekend, I decided to go into the Meta Tags + section of the ACP. I added all the tags I wanted and then decided to change the Meta Tag Refresh Option from whatever the default was to 30 seconds. I made the change and then took off for the weekend without seeing if it affected anything.

I went through everything this morning to see what was the matter. I checked all the option except the Meta Tags section. Finally, I decided to check the section and realized that the brower refresh was at 30 seconds.

Now it is working perfectly. I have no problems at all now. Now I am just getting CTracker errors which I will post in the correct thread.

Thanks again for everyone's help and I hope this may fix your problems Major Pain.

html works fine, for me, and on all the forums Ive setup for many other users. You seem to have major permissions errors. Try this... set all your folder permissions to 775 ... meaning no folders at 777. remove any php from every htaccess file and see if most of your problems disapear. I think you are not running php as an apache module, (or if it is, it is a php_suexec module) which is the setup that almost all instructions here are made for. The difference is that you may no add any php to any htaccess files and no file/folder permissions may excede 755. If you do either of these things you will result in 500 error pages

I changed all the folders to 775
these are the 2 htaccess files I have

The folder 775 changes still don't allow html.
Code appears in post.

I was going to show you my htaccess files.
I tried to post my htaccess files here in a quote and got the following error:

I've been already getting the 500 error page.

http://www.integramod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3930

Would it be easier Helter if I give you FTP access and you can look it over?

I can't give you info. the info is in archived pm and I can't access ACP anymore.

Getting this error on clicking Admin.

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, http://www.aaquacks.com Port 80

I downloaded a Home Directory Backup on my pc yesterday, so I'm going to upload it and see if it gives me access.
I'll try and get FTP info from our other admin. I thought I had it memorized, but I might have it wrong. I can't get in.

I don't think html has ever worked.

We went through this before and Frost was unable to figure it out either.

http://www.integramod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3477

I tried both google ads and paypal buttons which are both in html, and neither worked.

Mentioned the fault in other post, but thought I'd repeat the problem.

When adding allowed html in ACP, don't put spaces after the ,.
It won't let html work.

No spaces and everything works great.

Thx helter
