Im having some last final problems moving my forum, help plz

Ok I have copied my DB to new server along with the copy of my forum folder. config.php has been changed right.

But when I try to access the forum it auto trys to load this URL instead.

/phpBB/install/install.php

don't matter if i come in by index, portal or the admin index to tryn load ACP, it auto boots me to that url.

I edited phpbb_config in phpmyadmin to new domain name but its still not working?

tried to run the cookiemod program to see if it helps but I still get booted to this url

/phpBB/install/install/install.php

im not finding your phpbb directory.
when it goes to install/install.php, it means config.php is empty. check for misspelling and that it is in your forum root

think I know why but don't know how to solve it.

There is no Domain Name spot in the php_config

There is a site name but no domai name option, which im sure what needs edited.

The forum is still active and working at the old domain, When I go into the ACP and look at config settings, the very first top one is domain name.

but when I log into its phpmyadmin even it does not have that setting in pgp_config, only setting is site name,

Where in the DB is the domian name setting hidden?

config is set up right, there is no install folder, its not a new install it a move to a new domain. install folder was nuked long ago when forum was set up per original install directions.

Im just moving the forum to a new host/domain

would be easier if I just used the same domain in the move but I need to do a test move to make sure the new host is gonna be better.

Can kinda see what I mean here, in CP for forum first setting is the domain name but in the DB there is no settin in the config table.



I have searched n searched but can't find the right place in the DB to change the domain name so it works right.

Well Idid finally find the right settings, its in that php_config but it does not show when you browse,you must search to find it.

forum still don't work.

Is there a way to do a fresh install and just import the data later?

line 59 is this

YOu were right it was the config, see my new host gave me a whole set of into to post in the config, and I did that instead of just editin the old one. DOH
