Hey everyone, it has been a long time since I updated my website and have no idea what I am missing, I have phpbb 2.0.19 and IM140, I remember there being a couple 140 versions at some point and I have no idea which etc.

I would like to know if there is an easy way to upgrade to latest, eg. upload 141 and 2.0.22 and run an sql that checks the entire database for missing entries for both softwares and adds/changes everything to be up to date? What should I do?

If there is some way to just copy posts, users, pm's, album, groups and downloads (can't think of anything else needed if there is tell me) into a clean 1.4.1 install, could it be easily done? I would just like a 100% clean database and IM folder, brand new, import only the necessary stuff to database and upload only the necessary files like attachments and pictures, start all new without losing anything.

If I have to do everything manually, should I update to 1.4.1 first then go through all phpbb versions to the latest in increments?

If you don't have any additional mods to IM this will be very easy to do

Follow the instruction on the README file
Basically you just have to upload all files and then run the installation that will update your database

So it will also put every phpBB change in the database all the way back from 2.0.19? Thanks will give it a try, heres hoping I don't have to endure a manual database update.
