De.scription and Message

I was wondering about this idea. Some times on my forum, I need to check up times for meetings etc that are in posts. And when i am out and about, i cant check them out. I can look up my site on my phone currently, but it cost à ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚ ¬3ish alone to load up the portal with all the images etc.

Is it possible to construct a basic html page with no images but it calls up the recent topics block.. say a recent topic was 'location of tonights meeting'

then can a person click on the link to this topic and get the 'lofi version' of the topic to cut down on bandwidth etc.

Any suggestions or comments?

I woud not worry about the pm bit too much.

Instead, would it be possible to make links from the 'phone' version be directed to the lo-fi version of a topic instead of the normal view?

Dude that is awesome, Looked pretty good on my Nokia 6201 phone. Then I tried to go to a thread.
Your main page is configured for mobile, but then the topic links to the regular forum layout, not a mobile layout. The regular layout exceeds the memory limits of my phone, even with images turned off.

Id love to use this mod.
