Hello. I am reporting a hack as well, and I turned off nothing security related at all. it was all in place. Someone got in, ruined my database then proceeded to install a Vbulletin website compliments of my hosting.. <img>
So I deleted everything. As soon as I can get some log infor from the host, Ill let everyone know how they got in.

is the database name and password the same, or did they change them?

Well, the funny part about it all is, Upon further review, my config file was deleted and nothing else was harmed. Im not sure why someone would hack into to root and delete my config file and leave the rest alone. Thats kind of stupid.. And as I said, they proceeded to install a VBulletin forum ,like i wouldnt have noticed it. ha ha ha . I deleted everything on that server and changed all usernames and passwords on that account.
I will upload all of my backups and see what the issue is. And still waiting to get my fingers on some logs from host. Have yet to recieve anything back yet at this time.
Oh and database name and password were not touched.
