[SOLVED] smtp.php / emailer.php issue

What was done before the problem appeared?
Was not aware of issue until recently


What was done to try to solve the problem?
I've disabled and re-enabled 'User Email via Board' and I have tried using smtp and not using smtp



De.scription and Message

After my users try to reset thier password, they are getting the error

When NOT using smtp
[color=red]
Failed sending email ]

and when using smtp

[color=red]Email message was blank

I have searched the forums and there was an answered by ednique a long time ago, but the post that had the answer is no longer there and all the other questions similar refer to the topic that no longer exists.

this has happened to several users now and I am completely baffled as what is wrong.

Account was locked. The error completely threw me, so I didn't even bother to look at that

At the very least, this will serve as a possible solution for anyone else that may run into this same issue
