Upgrade from PHPBB 2.0.2.2 to integramod 1.4.1


What was done to try to solve the problem?
a fresh installation from scratch using both upgrade and complete package (both from this site)

I don't know what on earth i keep doing wrong, but after about 5 failed install attempts, i'm beginning to get upset <img>

I've tried a fresh install from the 1.4.1 .zip and i've tried installing PHPBB 2.0.22 and doing the upgrade to 1.4.1 procedure and i get the following problems:

(although i've unlocked my account afterwards and still get the same error, like a continuous loop)

There are many more too!! check the link if you think you can help, you are free to do whatever you please to the site as it's a fresh install and has nothing on it!

Had a look and made user1 account, I think you may have a few things set wrong.

like the login tries at 0 in security, but you may need to wait for someone with a little more know how to tell you how to best get back in to admin pannel so you can fix stuff.

the minical error is only in the update, not the full install. If your having trouble with the full install, such as the "404 page cannot be displayed" error, then it is possible that your server is running phpsuex. Try setting all the 666 chmods as instructed, but do not set any folders to 777 and try the fresh install again

thank you sooooo much helterskelter, it installed perfectly after i only set the 666 permissions, everything works a treat, is there anything else i need to do to make sure it all works ok?? do i need to change any of the 777 CHMOD's back now??

no, I believe your host will not support 777 permissions. I dont fully understand the permission structure of phpsuex yet, but the way I understand it is that your forum will write to the necessary folders using your account username privleges instead of setting them to 777 (read/writable by anyone)

<img> gotta love this mod already, the first mod i've installed and had this much support, fair play to you mate for making and supporting such a great mod!!
