What was done before the problem appeared?
In hindsight I associated the top menu with a specific style, which is not the default style.

so now when i go in I cannot get to the Admin button that was on the top menu bar?

Can i reset the style for the top menu through phpmyadmin, which i can get to through logging in to the server?




What was done to try to solve the problem?
Nothing yet, as i do not know where in the database the style is selected

I stupidly changed a setting which means i cannot see the top menu bar anymore, so cannot get logged in as admin <img>

Are you still offered a admin login on the portal or board navigation menu?
you will need to get back into admin to change the qbar menu.

I worked it out.

I was set up for auto login which didn't help so i cleared the cookies relative to the site, then i could at least login as admin to the forum.

Then i recalled that at the bottom of the Portal page on 1.4.0 there is a second admin link.

After realising that i could get back in to the QBar menu, .... :>)

Talking about making this hard for myself.
