2 Questions: Background Pic & Using Backend

Ok, I have two questions.
1. I edited my style (currently using PowerMetal) and changed the background picture via powermetal.css. Now, for some reason, the picture is in a tiled format, and when you scroll the page, the Picture tends to "stretch". I want the Background picture to remain stationary, and have everything scroll over it, with only one picture over the page, not tiled.
2. I play Lineage2 and would like to make a block for the server status. I atempted this last night, and it shows the server status, but it doesnt update. Plus there are 2 X's in the corners of this block. The location of the server status is Lineage2 Server Status. My page is Clan Enmity. You can see what I attempted in the bottom righthand corner.
I have done a little research, and it says that the Server Status is using Backend .script or something like that. I am just trying to figure this out.
Thanks guys for any help.
