IP Range Scanning of your account won't do this it's really just a log of the IP's you have logged in from.
Could you give a link to the site so we can see?

ftr_images has about a dozen images that take from 1 to 2 seconds to load.
they seem to all be regular forum stuff. Try clearing the extreme style and importal cashe first.

Example this is 1.05 seconds and the fastest of them.

As you have firefox get the firebug add on.
http://www.getfirebug.com/

when go to your site start the tool.
Use the net tab and it will time every file. This way you can run down problems not just time the site. The more you use firebug the more uses you find for it.

First your hosts test is showing you his server has issues!
look at how slow it is check the file size and look at the final rate.
The test he shows you is just fetching the file you ask for and returning it.

2 seconds a kb? well lets transfer just portal.php and index.php we'll not bother any graphics just the files!

the test is http://www.iwebtool.com/speed_test

Now click this link to see how small this file is.
http://www.unitedtestsite.com/images/ftr_images/im_foot.png

then go to his test site and run the test on it, http://www.unitedtestsite.com/images/ft ... m_foot.png

The folder in question has like 10 little files like this but you add them up and you get the slowdown.

Now lets try my tool, watch your site slow down as you add those little graphics.

I don't think were understanding each other, tested with what?
If your using the tool page on the net, stop it loads nothing. it's just DownLoading one file and timing the file.

To test it, you need to LOAD the whole site. if something is slowing you down how else could you see what is doing it?

I like firebug to test but as you don't use firefox you must fine one you can use.

Pm me a link to the other and i'll check the speed.
