Turn off Cracker Tracker?

Your phpBB Version: 2.0.
phpBB Type: Integramod 141
MODs: No
Your knowledge: Beginner

PHP Version:
MySQL Version:

What was done before the problem appeared?

What was done to try to solve the problem?

De.scription and Message

Ok, I know I have to do a debug, but almost everytime I try to do something in the admin panel, I get a Security Alert from Cracker Tracker.

Is there a way to turn this off, then turn it on when I'm done making changes?

I don't want to have to make changes in every file I try to change through the admin CP.

I'm about ready to go back to previous versions of Integramod because of it.

If there is no other way, then I'll have to go through and debug a LOT of things.

Thanks again.

You can rename it's folder and do what you need then name it back.
You'll get error messages while doing this, but some have tried this with good results.

You have to understand it was made for something plain and we have so much added goodies. <img>

Oh, I understand. I hope that in the next version of Integramod it's usefulness is looked at compared to it's problems.

I'm just so used to changing things on the fly in the older version and the CT Error window is a real annoyance; especially if I have to change every file manually.

I'm sure a lot of newbies would definitely be turned off by CT's issues and problems.

look at the hundreds of thousands of dead domain names out there. Alot of those are due to users frustration at being hacked. They just give up and quit.
There is always plain phpbb for users who dont want to spend any setup time and who dont need any additional features, but if your forum ever gets googled you will be over run with registration spam bots and you will be an easy target for hackers. The combo of Ctracker and phpbbSecurity, is not hack proof, but it is about as good as it gets for a public forum.

Protected by CBACK CrackerTracker :: 37006 Attacks blocked.
Protected by phpBB Security ÂÂ © phpBB-Amod :: phpBB Security ÂÂ © Has Blocked 1,131 Exploit Attempts.

Thats from this site, my site is not popular but I still have:

phpBB Security ÂÂ © Has Blocked 19 Exploit Attempts.
CrackerTracker ÂÂ © Has Blocked 663 Exploit Attempts.
CrawlTrack ÂÂ © Has Blocked 698 Exploit Attempts

Today you need the security to just stay online, sorry statement to have too make but true.
