De.scription and Message

I was wondering if it is possible to FTP files to your album and downloads root directory and have them show up on your page?

If so, what is the procedure and can you go back after and update details? I have a lot of files to upload and it would take forever if I had to do it individually.

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT]
This would not be for everyday use. I still want my users to upload as normal ...

admin > photo album > Configuration

Then find in the list:

Maximum number of files user can upload at a time (set number)
Enable dynamic adding of upload fields (set to yes)

when you go to upload album:
find:

Upload a pic from your machine: --> [add file]
click the number of times you set it.

Due to the naming in the forum album direct ftp will fail to link.

unfortunatly, you cannot do this as all the image and filenames are incrypted. I lost a few days trying to figure out how I could do it, but all the image and file info are stored in the db and must match the true file info.
Were your files peviously stored using pafiledb? what album were you using?
