Sooo, I took a non-modified phpbb, and ported it into a IM141 site.

No extras, mainly because I can't get the core to settle down and work without throwing a tantrum.

Default theme. Nothing fancy.

I am having users and myself having to log in every couple minutes or so. Which well, can be annoying. Nothing I've done - increasing and decreasing session lengths, cookie mods, lowering CT to low, has seemed to help.

If I try to admin ANYTHING, it will cause me to log in 4-5 times before allowing me to get to the place I need to get to. No error message, just changes to the forum index and then if you choose the same link again, then requires you to log in.

Users are reporting getting invalid session errors when trying to post or PM. Says general error - invalid_session.

Did a search on the forum, not much seems to be said for that and on what has been said ... well, nothing has eliminated that from happening so far.

I'm having issues with the site banning users. This si a new system for me, so not entirely sure where everything is held. How can I look and find a banned userlist? How can I *UN-ban* them? Their account is active and is not locked.

They are not in the ban control area in the user admin panel. Not sure if I am just looking in the wrong place or not.

cookie_path should = /forums
cookie_domain = .ooakdollart
.script_path = /forums/
server_name = http://www.ooakdollart.com

these setting set incorrectly will give the errors your describing.
If these are correct in your database, add or remove the www from your url.

if your nameserver is not setup to support both
http://www.ooakdollart.com/forums and
http://ooakdollart.com/forums
then browsing to a link using the wrong url prefix will also give these errors

same issue with me also i am quite new to this .. and like the new venture with this powered forum vs. nuke, evolution and platinum php systems ( everyone i know uses those in our field of php sites) so how do we unban a staff memeber ..?

In that case check admin > security > special, make sure you have the correct amount of allowed admins and mods.
