Identical Copy Of IM141

I want to make an exact copy of my IM141 so i can work on new themes and features and upgrades there first before inflicted them on my users. Could someone review the copy procedure, please.

I first copy my current IM141 database both data and structure into a file. Then make a new database and load that file into the new database.

Then I make a new sub-directory, e.g. root/forum2, and copy all the files from root/forum into that new sub-directory and redirect config.php to forum2.

Is that all I have to do or have i missed something? I usually alway miss something <img>

in your database
in phpbb_config, you will have to update these fields to point to your new directory

cookie_path should = /forum2
cookie_domain = .YOUR URL
..script_path = /forum2/
server_name = http://www.YOUR URL.com
